ostrich.or alligator.carrot sprouts (they are small and green... looks like kaiware but thin pointy leaves.tastes like ORANGE CARROTS. the fact that they are green is sort of a mind fuck.)1000 year old eggs are considered exotic... but i think they are on the normal end of the spectrum.lots of chinese food is in the category- jelly fish, sea cucumber, fish bladders...
